John Harkins is a bundle of talent who hails from Summit, New Jersey. In high school, John played Lacrosse and got recruited into the team based on his face-off ability. In 2019, he decided to pursue his dreams of becoming a famous rapper and rapping for a living. He considers himself a hard worker who is blessed with an immense work ethic to compliment his talented voice and good looks. However, regardless of his talent and work ethic, John found himself spiraling downhill due to his marijuana addiction last year. He was able to get his life back under control after checking himself into Tucson rehab in Arizona in November, and so far, he has been sober for two months and counting. And admitting how devastated and unproductive Marijuana made him during his battle with addiction, he has no plans of going back or gambling with his sobriety.

John Harkins recently released his first rap song, and while he hopes the song does huge numbers in terms of streaming and popularity, he wants his fans to know and anticipate more music from him. In his words, “I want to pursue my dream of being a rapper because it would make me happy. I want a job I would love to do for the rest of my life, and being a rapper would for sure make me blissful.”

John considers himself a talented and good-looking kid who, at 23 years, is a very hard worker — having worked minimum wage jobs even till now. “One of my biggest attributes is my will and determination to succeed. I am also uniquely talented at singing and acting. I was a student at the New York Film Academy in 2011 to study acting at an acting camp and learned a lot of information from successful TV and Movie actors. I used to run a mile in 8th grade in 5:49 and always came in first place in my middle school cross country races. I had to run 6.5 miles every day to stay in that kind of running shape; this is one of many examples of how hard of a worker I am.” He went further to describe himself.

As a rapper, John targets the young demographics who listen to and enjoy hip hop and rap, basically people in their early 20s and not later than 30 years. On what separates him from his competition, he said, “What separates me from my competition is my talented voice, good looks, and will to succeed. Most rappers are not good looking (like me) and do not have a talented voice or the work ethic. I am very determined to make it to the top of the rap game and have my picture and name known by everyone worldwide. Indeed, it would be a dream come true for me, and I am willing to do whatever it takes to get there, unlike most rappers.”
