Tim Da Jeweler first grew interested in jewelry when he purchased a pair of earrings online. As the stones winked at him from the screen, he began to envision himself selling the same item he had purchased. In that instant, Tim had decided — he was going to be a jeweler.
“I did countless hours of research online and found suppliers to make jewelry and began to brand my company,” he recalls.
After burning several gallons of midnight oil, he launched his first business called “TSV Jewelers.” The first few months were a struggle. Although the venture was capturing attention and gaining traffic, it was not the “instant hit” that Tim had imagined it to be. Learning things the hard way, he had to jump over countless hurdles alone and with a loose grasp on the financial ropes.
“My biggest challenge as a business owner was learning the financial side of the business and looking at numbers to improve,” he shares. “This took some time, but I’ve learned to do extensive research to overcome this challenge.”
Despite multiple trials, Tim Da Jeweler remained optimistic. Giving his best with his ambition at an all-time high, the leading designer never considered failure as an option. With his unfaltering drive goading him on a relentless pursuit of success, Tim finally saw his business take off.
Initially catering jewelry in the United States, TSV Jewelry was soon adorning international clients with complementing stones. Using YouTube as a research tool and Instagram and Google Ads for marketing, Tim found himself at the helm of a flourishing enterprise. However, he still wanted more.
So he started crafting his own jewelry designs. Taking inspiration from hip-hop culture and contemporary art, Tim shaped high-quality diamonds into unique and intricate pieces that carried his signature versatility. Placing his work on the TSV Jewelers site soon proved to be a fantastic business decision.
The well-made jewelry pieces almost immediately caught on, and orders were coming in droves. As the jeweler’s audience grew and demand for his services rose, Tim knew that he had to expand. The undeniably talented jeweler recently opened a showroom in Concord, California.
